Role Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated Growth Intern who is passionate about financial markets, market research, business growth, and strategy. The ideal candidate will work closely with the leadership team to identify growth opportunities, research market trends, analyze competitors, and support initiatives that drive user acquisition, engagement, and brand visibility for Valura.ai.

This role provides an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience at the intersection of finance, AI, market intelligence, and startup growth.

Key Responsibilities

1. Financial Market Research

1. Research global financial markets including equities, commodities, forex, cryptocurrencies, and macroeconomic trends.
2. Monitor significant market events, economic developments, and industry trends.
3. Prepare concise reports highlighting key insights and opportunities relevant to Valura.ai's audience.
4. Identify emerging themes that can be leveraged for user engagement and growth initiatives.

2. Growth & Business Development

1. Assist in identifying potential customer segments and growth opportunities.
2. Conduct market sizing and opportunity assessments for new products and features.
3. Support lead generation and outreach initiatives.
4. Research strategic partnerships, communities, and distribution channels that can accelerate growth.

3. Competitor & Industry Analysis

1. Track fintech, AI, investment, and financial intelligence competitors.
2. Analyze competitor products, marketing strategies, pricing models, and customer engagement tactics.
3. Identify gaps and opportunities that can help Valura.ai differentiate itself in the market.
4. Present actionable recommendations to leadership.

4. User Acquisition & Engagement

1. Support initiatives aimed at increasing platform adoption and user retention.
2. Research growth strategies used by successful fintech and SaaS companies.
3. Assist in executing campaigns across LinkedIn, X (Twitter), email, communities, and other digital channels.
4. Monitor campaign performance and suggest optimizations.

5. Data-Driven Growth

1. Analyze user behavior, engagement metrics, and growth KPIs.
2. Work with internal teams to derive insights from platform data.
3. Help identify patterns that can improve customer acquisition and retention.
4. Prepare reports and dashboards to communicate findings.

Qualifications

Must-Have

1. Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Marketing, Data Science, Commerce, BA, BBA or a related field.
2. Strong interest in financial markets and emerging technologies.
3. Excellent research and analytical skills.
4. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
5. Ability to interpret data, trends, and market signals.
6. Self-driven, curious, and eager to learn in a fast-paced startup environment.

Good-to-Have

1. Prior experience in growth, marketing, finance, consulting, or business development.
2. Familiarity with investment markets and fintech ecosystems.
3. Experience with Excel, Google Sheets, Notion, or analytics tools.
4. Understanding of startup growth strategies and digital marketing concepts.
