DevOps Intern – Job Description

About the Role

We are looking for a passionate and driven DevOps Intern to join our engineering team. This role is ideal for someone interested in cloud infrastructure, automation, CI/CD, monitoring, and containerized deployments.

As a DevOps Intern, you will work closely with developers and infrastructure engineers to build, deploy, monitor, and maintain scalable applications and cloud environments.

Responsibilities

* Assist in deploying and maintaining applications on AWS infrastructure

* Work with containerized applications using Docker and AWS ECS

* Help build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and Jenkins

* Monitor infrastructure and applications using Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, and Alloy

* Support infrastructure provisioning and automation using Terraform

* Manage and troubleshoot Linux servers and networking-related tasks

* Work with AWS services such as IAM and S3

* Participate in debugging deployment and production issues

* Maintain documentation for infrastructure and deployment workflows

* Collaborate with development teams to improve reliability and deployment efficiency

Required Skills

* Basic understanding of Linux and networking concepts

* Familiarity with Git and GitHub

* Knowledge of Docker and containerization

* Understanding of CI/CD concepts and pipelines

* Basic knowledge of AWS cloud services

* Understanding of Infrastructure as Code concepts

* Good problem-solving and debugging skills

* Strong willingness to learn DevOps and cloud technologies
