Position Overview

Valura AI is inviting applications from the 20262027 graduating batch for the role of QA Intern. We are looking for motivated, detail-oriented freshers who are passionate about:

Integration Testing

API & Backend Testing

Automation Testing (Web + Mobile)

Fintech product quality & reliability

As a QA Intern, you will work on real-world systems across web, mobile, and cloud platformsusing modern automation tools and collaborating directly with developers, product teams, and QA engineers.

About Valura AI

Valura AI is a modern fintech platform delivering intelligent financial insights through seamless, secure, and high-performance applications. Youll contribute to testing products that power financial planning, investments, and digital wealth experiences.

Key Responsibilities

1. Integration & API Testing (High Priority)

Test integration across frontend, backend, and third-party payment/financial APIs

Validate authentication flows (access token, refresh token, OTP, rate limits)

Test data synchronization between mobile backend web

Identify issues with API contracts, payloads, and error responses

Create automated API test collections and scripts

2. Automation Testing

Write and maintain automation scripts using Playwright + JavaScript or TypeScript

Build reusable test utilities, fixtures, and mock data

Automate regression, smoke, and sanity testing pipelines

Generate structured HTML/JUnit reports for CI/CD

Identify flaky or unstable test cases and fix root causes

3. Mobile App Automation(High Priority)

Test React Native app workflows: login, onboarding, dashboards, notifications

Use Appium or similar tools for mobile test automation

Test across multiple screen sizes, OS versions, and network speeds

Validate offline/online behavior and API sync logic

Automate device-level testing where possible

4. End-to-End Testing

Execute E2E flows across web, mobile, and admin dashboards

Validate flows like signup, KYC, transactions, analytics and insights

Perform cross-browser testing and responsive validation

Participate in release QA for new builds

5. Performance & Reliability Testing

Measure performance metrics (Core Web Vitals, API response time)

Conduct basic load and stress tests

Report bottlenecks and collaborate with devs on optimizations

6. Unit & Component Test Support

Contribute to unit tests and component tests using Jest and React Testing Library

Analyze and debug test failures

Work with developers on faster issue resolution

Basic knowledge of Playwright, Selenium, Jest, or Appium

Internship experience in QA or development

GitHub portfolio with test scripts or front-end apps
