Operations & Compliance Intern

As an Operations & Compliance Intern, you will play a key role in managing customer onboarding, KYC verification, compliance coordination, account opening, and operational workflows at Valura.AI. You will work closely with the Compliance, Operations, Product, and Engineering teams to ensure a seamless onboarding experience while maintaining regulatory compliance and operational excellence.

Responsibilities

1. Coordinate with third-party KYC and compliance partners on a daily basis.
2. Track customer onboarding from registration to account activation.
3. Review and verify customer KYC documents.
4. Follow up with customers for pending documents and verification.
5. Monitor account opening and funding status.
6. Maintain operational dashboards and onboarding reports.
7. Ensure compliance with internal KYC and AML procedures.
8. Coordinate with engineering teams to resolve operational or backend issues affecting onboarding.
9. Maintain accurate records of customer documentation and compliance activities.
10. Identify operational bottlenecks and suggest process improvements.
11. Ensure timely completion of onboarding within defined SLAs.
12. Assist in preparing daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports.
13. Support audit, compliance, and documentation requirements.
